Applefest is an annual town-wide fall celebration of the community, downtown area and Northborough’s agricultural history.

Pet Rock Festival

Come join us on Sunday, September 12th, for The Pet Rock Festival. The festival starts 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Quinsigamond Community College. 

Pet Rock is the largest animal expo on the East Coast. A daylong festival of fundraising fun for the entire family, including your dog, Pet Rock’s primary purpose is to promote responsible pet ownership, bring attention to animal cruelty and educate humans on a variety of animal related issues. Proceeds benefit New England animal welfare organizations. Pet Rock has given tens of thousands to worthy charities, including the Sterling Animal Shelter, the ASPCABird Program, Foster Parrots, Humane Society of the US: Youth, NEADS, theMSPCA, Animal Legal Defense Fund, Mass Vest A Dog, Commonwealth Cats, Echo Dog and many more.  Uxbridge First Holiday Night Pancake Breakfast

Come join us on Sunday, September 19th, for Uxbridge First Holiday Night Pancake Breakfast. The breakfast starts 7:00 am to 11:00 am at the Uxbridge Senior Center. 

We are pleased to once again partner with the Uxbridge Elderly Connection. The menu will be the following: Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Pancakes, Bagels, Orange Juice and Coffee. Also there will be raffle baskets by the Uxbridge Elderly Connection. Your $5.00 donation will help defray the cost of the 13th Annual Uxbridge First Holiday Night Celebration which will be held on Saturday, December 4th from 4-8pm.

 Greenway Challenge

Come join us on Saturday, September 25th, for Blackstone Valley Greenway Challenge. The festivals will start 9:30 am.

You are invited to run, paddle and cycle through one of the most beautiful and historic sections of New England, the Blackstone River Valley, for the UniBank Blackstone River Valley Greenway Challenge ~ an Adventure Race...like no other! Please join us as a competitor, spectator, or sponsor as we celebrate our 10th year! The mission of the UniBank Greenway Challenge is to promote the recreational quality of life in the Blackstone River Valley. Working with partner organizations, the UniBank Greenway Challenge supports clean water campaigns, hiking and biking trails, wildlife projects, environmental education and development of waterway access. Mark your calendars for the 2010 UniBank Blackstone River Valley Greenway Challenge scheduled for September 25, 2010, with a rain date of October 2, 2010.

Greyhound Rescue

Come join us on Saturday,  September 25th, for Greyhound Rescue. The festivals starts 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Riverbend Farm.  

Come out to a beautiful state park in Uxbridge for an afternoon of fun. Bring your kids and your dog(s), or come alone! There will be vendors with lots of Greyhound merchandise to buy, raffles, a silent auction, games for the dogs, information booths, and yummy food. Come visit with other Greyhound owners, shop, eat, and just have fun. We can all share Greyhound stories or learn something new about this great breed. What a great place to learn about Greyhounds as pets!

Octoberfest

Come join us on Saturday, October 2nd, for Octoberfest. The festival starts 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Main Street in Douglas. 

 Busy vendors line both sides of Main Street offering crafts, food, games, and unique displays that keep the crowds occupied until dusk. Entertainment throughout the day ranges from singers, bands, choral groups, dance routines, cheerleaders, and more. Rides and games are prominently displayed on the church lawn allowing easy access by families with small children. The Huge Slide, moonwalk, train, and obstacle course are always a great hit with our younger citizens. The cash cube is still a favorite and there are some wonderful and generous certificates and prizes to be won.

Grafton 275th Celebration

 Come join us on Sunday, October 3rd, for Grafton 275th Celebration. The festival starts 2:00 pm on Upton Street.

This year marks the 275th Anniversary of the incorporation of Grafton Massachusetts! Grafton is a central Massachusetts town just southeast of Worcester with a population of approximately 18,000.

Plans are well underway for the 275th Anniversary Parade on Sunday, October 3. The parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Upton Street (near Sibley Street), will pass the reviewing stand on Grafton Common and end at the High School. The theme is "Celebrating Our Heritage."

2nd Annual Blackstone Valley Fall Family Festival and Craft Fair

Come join us on Saturday,  October 9th, for 2nd Annual Blackstone Valley Fall Family Festival and Craft Fair. The festival starts 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at West end Creamery.  

This year, our agritourism focus includes exploring a new 5-acre corn maze, taking a hayride, watching horseback riding and jumping demonstrations, viewing exhibits by local 4-H clubs, and visiting the Barnyard Midway. Kids will certainly enjoy playing miniature golf, watching Bo Bo The Clown build them a balloon character, getting their face painted or checking out all the animals in the barnyard midway. You will also be able to purchase crafts from local vendors. We'll have a variety of jewelry, jams, Pampered Chef products, Cabot Cheese samples, pearls and lots more! Be sure to check out our complete list here.
Watch history come alive with the End Zone Militia, the Revolutionary War Re-enactors seen at all Patriots' home games.
